Plan Review

The Town of Beloit Fire Department works closely with the Community Development Director and State Building Inspections to ensure all new buildings meet current building codes and are the safest for the residents and visitors of the Town of Beloit. The Town of Beloit Fire Department is not a delagated authority for plan review services so all plan review is conducted by the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. The fire department does review all plans for AHJ specific requests and works with contractors, designers, and owners to resolve code issues. The State of Wisconsin has adopted the International Building Code (IBC) 2015 Edition for all new buildings and buildings being modified.
